Aberlemno

Designed by Ron Schweitzer

The village churchyard in Aberlemno, Scotland, is home to a large stone cross carved in the 6th century. At the center of the cross is a dramatic triple spiral which to the Celts represented balance in all things, much like the eastern Yin/Yang concept. For the colorway for this adapted Celtic pattern, designer Ron Schweitzer has chosen an antique tapestry palette of 11 colors of Jamieson & Smith 2-ply jumper wool. It is knit entirely in the round with steeks set at the garment front, armholes, front and back necks.
